Three police officers pulled a 52-year-old woman to safety this morning when she threatened to jump off the Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena, reportedly because she was experiencing financial problems, authorities said.

I was just telling someone on Sunday that I expected the number of jumpers to go up...or rather, down. Suicide is such a cop out. Kill yourself cause you can't handle your problems, leave your loved ones to pick up the pieces. How selfish. I should blog about it! Funny how I live a block away from the bridge and am never the wiser about jumpers. Seems like it would be big neighborhood news or at least a footnote in the newsletter.
